This is a health and wellbeing class offering low impact gentle exercises including Pilates based exercises providing fun, social and adaptable physical activity. We work on various things within the class – posture, balance, building core strength, relieving stress and tension, strengthening and toning muscles and flexibility, all with low-impact exercises. Alternatives can be given. Low-impact exercises can improve your health and fitness without harming your joints. The overall aim is to increase strength and stamina, cardiovascular fitness and mobility. This is a mixed class attended by mainly women but men are always welcome. Ideal for people who are new to exercise, have injuries and cannot exercise to full capacity but want to keep moving, lack confidence or don’t want to join a gym.
